Morgan and Garett’s wedding at Knotting Hill Place this past September was the immaculate celebration that 2020 needed. This was the first full wedding back for me since early March so I was especially excited to embrace the new environment of celebrating weddings in the time of a pandemic, but also to spend the day with some familiar faces. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this family over the past few years and was delighted when Morgan reached out when it was time to start planning her wedding! We photographed her bridals and engagements, which of course, I also had to show off.
The day was complete with vendors who always have the best eye and attention to detail. From the COVID safe display that greeted guests as they came through the doors to the luxuriously timeless florals and stylish decor that graced the tables in the reception hall. Knotting Hill Place is quickly becoming a hot spot venue for weddings in the DFW area and it’s no surprise why. All the various locations for photos (though we had to stick to a timeline for the day, I could have stayed photographing these two on the venue grounds for hours), the picturesque backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as the large getting ready spaces for both the bride and the groom (ps, the groom’s suite isn’t a closet). All to fit with Morgan’s stylish and contemporary aesthetic.

I have so enjoyed working with this family over the last few years. Even had the pleasure of photographing Morgan’s big sister’s wedding in June of 2019. Check out her gorgeous day at The Rosemary Barn!
