The age of COVID has brought a lot of changes and adaption in the wedding industry. More of my spring and early summer weddings from this year have either had to reschedule their dates completely or face the music and carry on with smaller, more intimate plans – both very different directions than what we all expected this year to go. But we keep calm and carry on so to speak. Leah and Sawyer had decided to reschedule their early June wedding to July to accommodate their guests and try to get past some of the stricter restrictions placed in Dallas. If any couple could handle the sudden change of plans, this was THE couple. Their grace throughout the last couple of months of juggling options was unmatched! And their ceremony at Perkins Chapel was proof to the point that beautiful moments can still happen in the middle of pandemic.
Leah and Sawyer opted to reschedule their reception for next year to allow more of their original guest list to be present. I can’t wait to continue working with these two and this amazing team that brought this vision to life again next year for their reception!
