Talking about this wedding at the Nasher is kind of tough because to be honest, it’s just so much better to look at the photos (obviously too, I mean this is a photographer’s website). Pure joy, happiness and having a good time were clearly on the agenda for this day and I think Madeline and Kevin and all their loved ones present would agree. Their stylish wedding at Nasher Sculpture Center – which also happens to be one of my favorite art museums and gallery spaces – was a cherry on top of my schedule of fall weddings this year. Photographing these two has always felt like photographing long time friends since our first meeting out in Marfa, Texas for their engagement session earlier this year. And well, as a photographer you can’t get much better client relationships than that.
Their ceremony took place in a gallery space below the public floor of the Nasher. After which guests could ascend the stairs outside to the sculpture garden where among the art pieces, reception tables draped with dark blue linens and topped with fall florals were placed under string lights. The whole scene was dreamy and the disco music that accompanied really set the mood for the rest of their fun night on the dance floor. I can’t imagine a better night for these two!
An incredible evening spent with amazing and talented people…

These two were so much fun to work with this year. Check out their engagement session we shot this summer in Marfa, Texas – one of my favorite sessions this year!
The 2020 calendar is just about full! Can’t wait for the new year and all the new stories to capture.
