What a fun session with April and Chris for their engagements at Arbor Hills Preserve in Plano, Texas! I love this location because of how big it is (which land in Dallas, Texas is hard to come by) and how much we are able to roam throughout for photos. We actually started at the Starscenter Ice Rink in Plano to incorporate Chris’s love of ice skating and to take a bit of a break from the summer heat. This was my first time photographing anything on ice, which in of itself was a little scary but a really cool experience! And didn’t fall once – so proud.

After grabbing a few shots on ice, we headed to the nature preserve to finish out their session during the perfect sunset. Honestly, the epitome of a summer night in Texas. So many feels for these two and cannot wait to photograph their wedding later this fall.
