After having found my work on Instagram last year, Brittani and I instantly connected over our love of tex-mex, dogs and all things travel. So when she told me her wedding was going to be in one of my favorite places – Portland, Oregon – I jumped at the chance to work with her and Jeremy! We met for their engagements in Dallas and spent a very hot afternoon at some of their favorite places in the city (p.s. check out their session here). I knew immediately after their session that their wedding would be just as special.
Fast forward one year and one flight later, we met in Portland for their incredibly chic day. The ceremony and reception took place at Blockhouse PDX, a super cool greenhouse venue close to downtown Portland, and was filled with rose gold details, modern touches, and moody florals – vibes I could only count on Brittani to have for her wedding. Their vision was brought together by Luxe Productions, another vendor team in the area I had been dreaming of working with! Seriously, if you are planning a wedding in the PDX, get these wonderful ladies on your team ASAP. Working with them was super easy and I could really tell they care about their couples. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have planned for better weather. Think cool 75 degrees and a slight breeze – only the best rescue from shooting summer weddings in the Texas heat. We capped off the night dancing to Lizzo (duh, because who else?!) under the string lit patio.
Brittani and Jeremy, I am so dang happy for you and beyond honored to have captured this day for you. Let’s meet for tacos soon okay?
