If this wasn’t the epitome of a summer wedding in Texas. Gorgeous big florals in every bouquet, groomsmen in black tuxedos, a clear reception tent with string lights, the best live band in Dallas, rooms filled with loved ones from all over, and a quick rain shower (that barely missed the ceremony – we were lucky with the best timing). Rachel and Colby’s black tie wedding at Arlington Hall was a summer season highlight for sure. Working with them has been such a treat since photographing their engagements earlier this year in Dallas (check out the session here). Their chemistry is so natural and incredibly photogenic, it hardly felt like work photographing these two!
I was especially excited to work with some of the vendors they included in their day. From the very beginning, Kristin with Events by Kristin was a gem – this woman works SO hard for her couples and it certainly pays off. And let’s talk about the amazing florals. I have been lucky enough to photograph Something Pretty Floral’s work for a couple of weddings this year and this day was no different from the magical arrangements they make. I hope to work with both of these teams again!
The love that surrounds these two was so evident throughout the day and it was so special to document every moment that unfolded.
“WE ARE IN AWE. You did such an incredible job, we can’t stop looking at the photos!!! We can’t even decide our favorites because they’re all perfect. Seriously, booking you as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding!!”
