I met Michelle and Brody out on Long Island after photographing a wedding in upstate New York. We had been planning this session for a couple of months and I was so excited to finally meet them and make our vision come to life. We started at Mattebella Vineyards, the site where Brody proposed a few months prior. It’s always special when I’m able to photograph a couple in a place that means so much to their relationship, and I always encourage locations like that!
After spending some time roaming the vineyards and rustic little vignettes throughout the property, we headed to the town of Greenport at the very tip of Long Island. A quick outfit change later, we ventured to an old ship yard and industrial warehouse park – such a perfect setting with lots of colors and edge.
These two are so cool and working with them is effortless. I can’t wait to see them again in October for their wedding in Brooklyn!
New York is a favorite place of mine to visit and photograph. And luckily, I’m there a lot for engagement sessions and weddings! Here’s another one of my favorite galleries shot in the middle of Manhattan’s skyline and on the shores of Williamsburg: Jenn + Robert
